TSR Migration to the OATI webOASIS

The MAPP OASIS Node reservations were posted on the OATi webOASIS on Monday, March 20.  This was an incremental update to the OATi webOASIS, which means transmission service requests queued after March 20, 2006 13:10:46 CS will not be reflected on the production OATi webOASIS.  Reservations not posted will be posted prior to implementation; validation is currently performed to ensure service point translation was performed as expected.

NERC E-tags that list MAPP as the Transmission Provider

Based upon the feedback received on February 8th at the customer training session, we plan to offer a specific period of time where the transmission customer can submit NERC E-tags with the revised MAPP Schedule F PORs/PODs of their TSR for tags active after March 28th at 10 AM.  MAPP has registered the revised MAPP Schedule F PORs/PODs in TSIN.

March 15, 2006

The current OASIS Migration information indicates that the current MAPP OASIS node reservations would be posted as of yesterday, March 14, 2006.  The TSRs have not been posted as scheduled on the OATI webOASIS.  The review and corrections of service point translation to the existing reservation data set has taken longer than expected.  The expected date to post the reservations will be late afternoon on Monday, March 20.

Preliminary Notification of MAPP OASIS Node Migration and

Enhanced Transmission Service Request Validation and Evaluation System

This is the first of multiple notices to be published giving guidance to MAPP OASIS Node users, MAPP Schedule F and MAPP Member Tariff Transmission Customers:

The MAPP OASIS node at web address, http://mapp.oasis.mapp.org/OASIS/NODE, will be decommissioned, and all future transmission service requests under the MAPP Schedule F OATT and MAPP Member OATTs shall be reserved on OATI’s webOASIS at http://www.oatioasis.com/.

The MAPP OASIS Information at web address, http://toinfo.oasis.mapp.org/oasisinfo/, will gradually decommissioned because all future information will be posted on the MAPP OASIS on the OATI webOASIS.

1.                   Dates

·        The MAPP OASIS migration and Transmission Service Request Validation and Evaluation System transition date is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, February 28, 2006.

·        Preliminary scheduled for February 9 and February 10, 2006, Transmission customers may log in to webOASIS and submit transmission service requests in the demo OASIS environment.  The enhanced Transmission Service Request Validation and Evaluation System will provide results via the OASIS.  This will allow the transmission customers to gain exposure to the new systems.

·        Any system variances will be submitted to OATI for resolution.

·        Additional information will be provided at a later date.

Purpose

The OATI webTrans system will implement the new business requirements included in the MAPPCOR-MISO Seams Operating Agreement, and improve existing business processes such as:

·        Automated evaluation of Firm redirects, which will allow daily firm redirects

·        The On/Off path evaluation methodology for both MAPP Schedule F and MAPP Member OATTs.  The Transmission Customer will no longer be required link transmission service requests on OASIS, however the customer(s) is required to have a complete tariff path.

·        Web interfaces for flowgate and transmission reservation impact information

·        Additional AFC/ATC calculation transparency

The Seams Operating Agreement defines the AFC coordination protocols and implementation of reciprocally coordinated flowgates.

2.                   Treatment of Active Transmission Reservations

·        Reference Section 9 of the MISO-MAPP Tariff Administration Transition Guide.

3.                   Transmission Customer Registration

·        Transmission Customers should utilize the OATI registration forms posted at http://www.oatioasis.com/.  For additional support, contact OATI at 763-201-2020 or support@OATi.net (Reference the MMTA project).

·        You do not need to re-register if you already have access to the OASIS site listed above.

4.                   Learning Opportunities

·        OATI webOASIS user training for Transmission Customers is scheduled for February 7th or 8th depending on demand.

http://www.oatiinc.com/oati-training-new.html

Future Notification Protocol

·        All notifications will be posted on the MAPP OASIS and MAPP OASIS Information page
